1. What is Art Studies and Arts Appreciation?
Art Studies is the process of learning and understanding how to create and produce art, weaving together multiple academic subjects, and instilling its practices in one's life
Art appreciation is the knowledge and understanding of the universal and timeless qualities that identify all great art. The more you appreciate and understand the art of different eras, movements, styles and techniques, the better you can develop, evaluate and improve your own artwork. Our flagship program, MEET THE ART MASTERS, is a form of art studies & arts appreciation with emphasis on lessons that are made specially for kids. |

2. Why MEET THE ART MASTERS?
Children learn by example and who's the best person to follow, but the master!
We introduce our students to internationally-acclaimed visual artists - foreign and local - and we teach them about the different styles and techniques of these artists PLUS encourage them how to use these as inspiration in developing their own. |

|
3. Do you copy famous artworks?
Our projects are inspired by Art Masters, but we do not copy famous artworks. What we do is instill in each child a better understanding of how they can apply the different art techniques they learn in class.

4. Will you teach my child how to draw and/or paint?
Yes, and we teach so much more! Our main focus is to enhance the creative thinking of our students with more creative exploration. We introduce them to various forms of visual art and focus on Arts Appreciation topics. In older batches, we also include skills development for more intermediate techniques.
5. What will you teach in the different class levels?
BABY PICASSO (recommended for ages 2 to 4)
Our Baby Picasso classes encourage PARENT and CHILD interaction and is centered on the fine motor skills development of the toddlers (like holding art materials properly, drawing, coloring and painting exercises but no cutting yet!) along with our basic Arts Appreciation topics. KIDDIE VAN GOGH (recommended for ages 4 to 8) In our Kiddie van Gogh classes (students may or may not be accompanied by an adult companion), we share more child-oriented activities and focus more on Arts Appreciation topics with a creative exploration of art materials as well as drawing, collage, and painting techniques. JUNIOR LUNA (recommended for ages 8 to 12) Our Junior Luna classes share more in-depth Arts Appreciation topics along with skills development for more intermediate techniques in illustration, painting, and collage. |

6. Are art materials included in the fee?
If you enroll in our PHYSICAL CLASSES:
For our FACE-TO-FACE sessions, workshop fees include the basic drawing and painting materials + vellum boards for drafts and arts and craft projects. For our painting and sketching activities, we encourage our students to find their favorite canvas and sketch pads and bring them along to class. We believe that with the challenge of exploring new and familiar materials coupled with a medium our budding artists are comfortable with, they can create anything they can imagine! If you enroll in our ONLINE CLASSES: The lower fees in our virtual sessions do not included art materials in the payment, but feel free to connect to our accredited suppliers who can provide you with child & parent friendly art materials delivered to your home. We've tried and tested their great products in our past workshops, tutorials, and art research + we've also secured EXCLUSIVE DISCOUNTS for all our confirmed enrollees!
