Sarmiento, is an Educator and a Mental Health Advocate with degrees in MAEd Educational Psychology (Cognates in Family Life and Child Development) and BS Psychology from UP Diliman and a Certificate in Family Life Education from the University of Asia and the Pacific. She is a also a creative individual helping others as a Voice Coach, Culinarian, and a Catholic Media Missionary.
