These Formation teachers and counselors were as excited as kids during their CREATIVE SELF EXPRESSION SEMINAR held for half a day with Likhang Bata's teacher Dindi Besinga-Manlapaz. This event was aimed at introducing to the faculty members of the Ateneo de Manila Grade School - Formation Department how to use common/available materials and combining it with art materials that are usually intimidating to most people. The basic drawing tools, paints and arts & craft materials were used to find ways on how to explore visual communication and/or artistic expression and interpret topics like self identification, sense of "belongingness" to a family and even appreciation of the environment. The seminar's other objective was also to acquaint the participants to various art materials (other than crayons and watercolor) and teach them how to manipulate and combine these into meaningful art projects. Held last May 2014 at the Ateneo Grade School Guidance Department, Quezon City, Philippines, majority of the faculty members were able to attend and accomplish all the given projects that they were also able to bring home. Teacher Dindi had fun sharing loads of creative ideas to these formators. The Ateneo de Manila Grade School are lucky to have dedicated people like you!
