The Likhangbata ARTS FESTIVAL gets a boosting feature on TV!
I was so excited and honored to be interviewed during the early Sunday morning teleradyo show entitled MAGANDANG MORNING with JULIUS AND NINA at DZMM TELERADYO of ABS-CBN.
Along with Engineering for Kids, I was able to share about the 1st Likhang Bata ART FESTIVAL along with artworks made by my talented students. The colorful pieces made such a big impact with hosts Julius Babao and Nina Corpuz, two celebrated journalists in the Philippines, because of their apparent understanding of the popular creative styles of the great art masters. Big thanks to Chinka Besinga-Sarmiento from CFC-FFL, for hooking me up and to Nina Corpuz herself for allowing me to get featured on air!
It was such a wonderful way to open my last Sunday this March and close a very busy week that had just passed.

I AM TEACHER NANAY DINDI :)
To be honest with you, I'm more of a visual artist rather than a writer/blogger. So "author" to me seemed kinda scary and I couldn't think of any other "tag" to write in this portion than NANAY (mother in Filipino language). Because that's who I really am, a Filipino mother first and an artist-teacher second.
